Fixed-Term Administrative Assistant
(12 Weeks – Potential Extension).
We are seeking a reliable and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis to cover staff absence, starting within the next month. This role is initially for 12 weeks, with the possibility of extension, depending on business needs. Working within a busy construction company, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document management.
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a professional manner.
- Assisting with scheduling, appointments, and coordination of site activities.
- Ordering of site materials.
- Supporting project teams with paperwork, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience (construction industry experience is desirable but not essential).
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
- Knowledge of Sage software is preferred but not essential.
